Concrete Finisher

As a concrete finisher, you will place and finish concrete, color concrete surfaces, expose aggregate (small stones) in walls and sidewalks, or make concrete foundations, beams, columns, and panels.  Depending on the job, you may also use special machines to vibrate concrete to ensure air pockets are filled.

Math is used across the skilled trades. You may work with decimals, fractions, measurements, conversions, area and volume to plan work, calculate materials, monitor operations and troubleshoot.
