SkillPlan is proud to be a part of SMART Canada’s Green Futures Partnership alongside Canada’s Building Trades Unions and Social Research and Demonstration Corporation. Supported by approximately $9M in federal funding through the Union Training and Innovation Program, this partnership will help advance green training opportunities for sheet metal workers across Canada. The project will include the development, delivery and evaluation of green training for sheet metal apprentices and journeypersons and will help 2,000 sheet metal workers become better equipped for the transition to a low-carbon economy.
