
SkillPlan’s CEO Kyle Downie spoke on the federal government’s announced $5.5 million in investments that will expand online resources to support apprenticeships, recruitment, assessment and training and provide crucial support for those considering or already in the skilled trades. On May 27, 2024, Canada’s Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages of Canada Randy Boissonnault announced the investment to support underrepresented workers in finding well-paid careers in the skilled trades.
