SkillPlan is pleased to announce that our Pan-Canadian Virtual Recruitment and Training System project, in partnership with Canada’s Building Trades Unions, Provincial Building Trades Councils, Social Research and Demonstration Corporation and Magnet, will receive additional funding from Future Skills Centre to continue to enhance Canada’s construction workforce. The Virtual Recruitment and Training System is a proven system that integrates findings from our previous virtual recruitment projects and focuses on recruitment, assessment, training and enhanced connections to apprenticeship training and job opportunities in the skilled construction trades. Announced today, our project was selected as one of 13 innovative skills development projects that addresses Canada’s urgent workforce needs and has demonstrated capacity to drive systems change through further testing and innovation. Thank you, Future Skills Centre, for your continued support. We’re thrilled to continue this important project with our amazing partners.
