SkillPlan was honoured to present at the Building Trades of Alberta‘s (BTA) 2025 Conference in Jasper, Alberta, in September. In alignment with the conference theme, Eyes Wide Open, which focused on setting a clear path forward for the future of the unionized skilled trades in Alberta, our CEO Kyle Downie presented on SkillPlan’s work with BTA and the Building Trades to support recruitment and retention in the unionized skilled trades and help prepare trades workers and the industry for the future.
The conference was also a great opportunity to connect with brothers and sisters from Alberta’s unionized construction sector — part of the 60,000+ members in residential, commercial, industrial construction, maintenance and fabrication that the BTA represents — along with Business Managers, contractors, owners and industry experts.
